The Alturas and Alturas Sunrise Rotary Clubs annually sponsor students from the Modoc Middle School. REGL graduates often join the Interact Club to further their leadership skills.
Annual hands-on projects engage members and help our community. The day is a great way to revitalize our club, attract new members and generate publicity for Rotary.
The club provides financial and hands-on support to youth, seniors, and Rotary International for projects such as scouting, Little League teams, Modoc Last Frontier Fair, and senior meals.
Providing scholarships and international exchange opportunities for students to interact with diverse people and ideas early may positively impact their school years and beyond.
Our club understands the winning combination of having fun while we serve. We take time to enjoy family, friends, and fellow Rotarians during meetings and events.
District grants are matched with club funds to accomplish projects and activities that address needs in our community and communities abroad.
Each year our fundraisers and mini scholarships/grants serve community needs and help people close to home.
